The variation of items within the kit allows for multiple options for food, fire, water and shelter; for example, in addition to the Mainstay packaged food, a fishing kit and snare wire is also included. This kit contains 330 of the most essential items needed in a survival situation, packaged within an indestructible Pelican 1400 case.
Every item included in this kit has been thoroughly tested and approved to ensure it performs flawlessly when needed and meets or exceeds Transport Canada's Canadian Aviation Regulations to facilitate survival and rescue.
The contents of this kit are packaged very tightly and may be difficult to repack once opened. Some of the items included in this kit will need to be replaced before expiration. There is a repacking service available.
