ELT 406 Sales (Pointer Avionics)
The Pointer SkyyHunter ELTs have an internal GPS receiver, eliminating the requirement for additional wiring to an external GPS nav source. These units are designed to operate in extreme operating temperatures (-40C to +55C). Programming dongles are available as an option for fleet operators.
Features:
- Internal GPS receiver, no nav interface required.
- Internal GPS antenna. External GPS antenna is an option.
- Very light weight. Typical 2.2 lbs.
- Ultra small size, very thin design (203mm x 130mm x 80mm)
- Operates without aircraft power and has an internal buzzer.
- Compatible with existing Pointer 2019-10 remote switch configuration.
- Mounting tray pattern is compatible with many existing ELTs.
- Optional programming dongles for fleet management. ($200.00 USD)
- Five year battery shelf life.
- Two year warranty from programming date.
These ELTs will not be available until October 2008. But we are accepting pre-paid orders. All of the Pointer ELTs will be billed in USD funds.

Each 406 MHz ELT contains a unique identification code that is initially programmed by the manufacturer using the serialized aircraft 24-bit address.
