Each 406 MHz ELT contains a unique identification code that is initially programmed by the manufacturer using the serialized aircraft 24-bit address. You will be required to supply this code when ordering an ELT. To retrieve your aircraft's code (24 bit address), follow this link and simply enter your aircraft registration. If programming of an ELT is required, we will have programming capabilities for all Kannad model ELTs and Pointer model ELTs. All other brand ELTs will have to go the manufacturers for programming.
