The Integra 406 GPS ELT is the only ELT with both an internal GPS and internal 406 MHz antenna, allowing it to transmit identification and position even if the aircraft’s external antennas are damaged. Its fail-safe design ensures automatic activation after a crash or ditching, and it can keep transmitting even when removed from the aircraft. If the external antenna is broken, the Integra automatically detects the failure and switches to its internal system, ensuring the distress signal still reaches satellites.
